On Saturday September 2 CEO Nimesh Shah appeared at the Financial Times Weekend Festival on an ‘Ask the experts’ panel on pensions chaired by FT Consumer Editor Claer Barrett.
Claer put reader questions to a panel including Nimesh, Sir Steve Webb, partner at LCP and former pensions minister, and David Goodfellow, head of financial planning at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc.
Nimesh commented: “There was lots of uncertainty and complexity with pensions and the “will they, won’t they” debate around The Labour Party’s pledge to reinstate the lifetime allowance dominated the discussion.”
The FT Weekend Festival is about fresh ideas and trending topics. It was held at Kenwood House Gardens in London.
