The world of reward is rapidly evolving and there are an increasing number of pressures being placed on Human Resources and Reward teams as they look to balance:
- cost challenges
- evolving employee needs and expectations
- increasing business focus
- increasing regulations and reporting requirements
- evolving societal expectations and scrutiny
These challenges combine to create a complex matrix of issues and opportunities that is unique to every employer and requires a tailored and bespoke set of approaches to address them. In this environment, the concept of ‘best-practice’ becomes largely redundant and ‘best-fit’ solutions are required which balance all of the above in a way that maximises the impact for a particular business.
We have brought together a highly experienced team of reward advisors who can either advise on the design and tax effective implementation of an integrated total reward solution or on individual reward components. Our team has experience working across all business sectors in the UK and beyond with clients that range from globally recognised brands with many thousands of employees, through to local enterprises and start-ups with a just a handful of people. We are passionate about identifying pragmatic solutions that balance your specific needs with best-in-class design, communication and implementation approaches specific to your context.
Our Financial Services team (formerly Rees Pollock) has a deep knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations, sector-specific tax issues and structuring considerations. This means that you can be assured you have an advisor who not only understands how this all works but who can also identify potential issues.
Our team of almost 70 people have been working with private equity and venture capital managers and funds, wealth managers and advisory firms for over 30 years, providing high-quality, bespoke advice to help them establish and grow their business.
We act for more than 180 FCA-authorised firms, including some of the UK’s leading hedge fund managers, private equity houses and corporate finance advisers. Our key financial services clients include some of the longest established hedge fund managers in the UK and several of the largest in Europe, as well as a number of the most successful launches of recent years.
We can advise regulated firms on legal structures regarding the relationships between the funds they manage and the ways that the managers are remunerated. Equally, we know that the personal tax of those managers is often complex due to these same remuneration policies, and we are well placed to advise on this too.
We are here to act as an extension of a business, identify any issues and ensure tax and accounting issues are taken care of so that our clients can focus on growing a successful financial services business.
Our financial services team offer support across Audit, Tax and Outsourced Accountancy.
Upon joining the financial services team, you will be supported to complete the AAT qualification, with potential to move on to the ACA, ACCA or CTA.
