The role
As a US/UK TaxManageris expected to manage a comprehensive client list, provide line management and to make a significant contribution to the operational success of the Firm through participation in Management Committee Meetings and through committee membership and/or leadership. You will have a direct contribution to the achievements of the performance targets, aims and objectivesof the business. The main purpose of the role is to advise yourclients in connection with their tax affairs. You will ideally be working within a managerial capacityalready or aspiring to as part of your journey. You will become part of the management team including department work planning, appraisals directly guiding more junior team members on both technical and day to day matters.
A qualification such as an ACA/ATT/CTAare essential for this role. As part of the management your journey will continue via mentorship by the senior management team to providesoft skills development to include client and staff management. Personal coaching will also be available as your journey continues beyond formal qualifications tailored to your own individual aspirations and can even help you plot your route to Director/Partner.

Key accountabilities
As an Assistant your main responsibilities will be:
- Providing an efficient, client focussed and proactive service to meet the needs of private clients.
- Working with directors and managers on technical assignments.
- Managing day to day client portfolio including billing and monitoring work in progress.
- Ensuring that the firm’s risks are managed appropriately.
- Liaising with HMRC in relation to client matters and dealing with enquiries from HMRC.

Due to continuing growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen to join a thriving Global Mobility tax team with a leading London based firm. We are looking for a Global Mobility Tax Manager to deliver bespoke tax compliance and consulting services for our high profile and diverse client base. The wide variety of work and diverse range of prestigious global clients should give the successful candidate a hugely satisfying role. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- This is a client facing role and you will be involved in a broad range of clients and tax projects providing tax advice and consulting services to Finance and HR professionals, as well as directly to the founders and C-suite clients.
- You will lead and manage your own diverse and interesting client portfolio including advising and guiding them on a broad range of employment tax matters (both core compliance and planning matters and wider employer services areas), leading and delivering project and resolving their queries.

Key accountabilities
The role will focus on cash collection, resolving problems in relation to payments and aged debt. Credit Control duties include following up with all aspects of legal actionand managing a portfolio of Partners and their ledger of debtors. There is also the possibility to assist in the integration of any future acquisitions and contribute to the overall development of the credit control function. The credit control unit is part of a 15 strong Finance Team led by the CFO.

A CICM qualification is desirable but not essential for this role. Key accountabilities
As a Management Accountant, you will have responsibility for the accounting on a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for maintaining client records and completing accurate management accounts, VAT returns and other regulatory filings. The main duty of this role is to prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts and VAT returns for a large portfolio of clients across various sectors. You will also be involved in processing monthly data, posting month end journals, producing month end management reports with supporting documentation and Ad hoc financial tasks. You will have strong experience of working on management accounts in either a practice or industry setting; you will have a strong eye for detail and be able to manage your own workflow as well as being able to work well as part of a team. Some career experience of client service and delivery is very useful as this is a practice based role and you will be working on multiple clients. To be considered for this opportunity, you must speak German fluently or at Business proficiency.
An accountancy qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA or working towards one with the supporting practical experience is essential for this role. You will be supported and developed at Blick Rothenberg by an extensive training program covering both technical and soft skills development. The role
The Manager has the primary task of controlling the workflow on a portfolio of clients, dealing with technical queries as they arise and completing quality control reviews in a timely and accurate fashion. This requires technical knowledge, attention to detail and an ability to organise the workloads of others. The Manager is a key individual in building and maintaining strong relationships with key individuals at the client.
You will also have responsibility to review, management reports, VAT returns and registrations, payment runs, and the client billing process. You will also be the primary contact with senior client contacts, typically Financial Controllers and CFO level who will be based overseas along with the clients UK based operational team.

The role
As Management Accountant reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be part of the core monthly reporting team and will play a key role in the monthly reporting for the Blick Rothenberg businesses.
Key accountabilities
- Assist in the production of the monthly management accounts and month-end reporting
- Monthly analysis of overhead spend
- Preparation of month end prepayments and accruals
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the year-end audit
- Supervise payment runs / supplier invoice approval
- Process bad debt write offs / sales ledger adjustments
- Any other adhoc requests

Marketing & Communications
The Marketing & Communications team set the marketing strategy and objectives for Blick Rothenberg. They are responsible for supporting business growth and building the BR brand profile. In broad terms the team:
- Creates and manages the strategic Marketing plans at a client, partner, sector and department level;
- Manages the brand ensuring it is always used appropriately and is positioned in the right way;
- Drives brand awareness and lead generation through engaging content taken to market by multi-channel campaigns;
- Manages the firm’s key client relationship and client listening programmes;
- Manages our relationships with the media and seeks out the most appropriate opportunities;
- Creates and implements the firm’s digital marketing and communications strategy;
- Provides strategic advice and co-ordination on high value pitching opportunities;
- Develops research where necessary to analyse markets in support of marketing and communications activity;
- Manages internal communications across the business in collaboration with HR and the Leadership
The role
This role forms part of the core of the marketing team and supports all areas of the business based on priorities. Therefore, the role holder must have a good generalist marketing background with some specialist skills welcome.
The role holder is expected to take a proactive approach to marketing and identify areas where they can add value to the Marketing & Communications function. They must be able to actively project manage campaigns, keeping projects on time and on budget, ensuring everyone completes their actions, proactively seek new ways of marketing and develop their own ideas on how to maximise spend and activity.
Brand
- Be an active ambassador for the BR brand, ensuring that it is used appropriately at all times and manage situations where it is not used in the correct manner.
- Support the development of the brand, offering ideas and helping with delivery with elements including design and photography, offering a critical eye to proposed designs.
- CRM.
- Be an active user of Salesforce and support the business in using the system in the approved way.
- Digital Marketing.
- Use our marketing technology including software platforms and automation.
- Support the Head of Digital in maintaining and enhancing the firm’s presence on social media, including Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Help to promote the adoption and use of social media across the business.
Key accountabilities
Events
- Support the development and delivery of corporate hospitality and events (both face-to-face and virtual) to enhance our brand and build relationships with clients, prospects and intermediaries.
- Offer new ideas to get the most from event spend whether internally or externally.
Group
- Support with Group marketing and communications initiatives, where necessary and take a lead on activity where requested.
- Management
- Ensuring that the team management system (Monday) is kept up to date with progress on activity.

- Content & Campaigns
- Leading on the development of campaign plans.
- Project management of campaigns, working with the wider Marketing & Communications team to ensure timely delivery and to budget.
- Production of creative marketing content to support campaigns including reports, flyers, brochures, video, podcasts and advertisements.
- Development and management of relationships with external suppliers such as conference organisers, designers, videographers, industry associations and key publications.
- Proactively seek out and write initial drafts of client case studies using agreed format.
- Use of Salesforce to monitor campaigns.
- Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing activity to understand their effectiveness and business impact.
- Develop close-out reports to evidence ROI, mapped to campaign objectives.
Skills & experience
Essential
- At least 8 years’ experience as a marketing professional, the majority in a B2B environment preferably in professional services
- Professional marketing qualification (e.g. CIM)
- Experience of developing and delivering content-led marketing campaigns and can evidence brand profile KPIs being met and lead generation KPI’s being met
- Experience of managing multiple marketing projects at one time
- Experience of creating a wide range of marketing content
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Experience of writing, designing and publishing social media posts (LinkedIn and Twitter)
- Event (live and virtual) organisation and management skills
- Experience of the following software platforms:

Key accountabilities
A US/UK Tax Senior Manager is expected to manage a comprehensive client list, provide line management to at least one Manager and to make a significant contribution to the operational success of the Firm through participation in Management Committee Meetings and through committee membership and/or leadership. You will have a direct contribution to the achievements of the performance targets, aims and objectives of the business. The main purpose of the role is to advise your clients in connection with their tax affairs. You will ideally be working within a managerial capacity already or aspiring to as part of your journey. You will become part of the management team including department work planning, appraisals directly guiding more junior team members on both technical and day to day matters. This role is working within our Trusts and Wealth team.
Skills & experience
EA and ATT qualifications are essential in order to have the baseline knowledge of their peers who have come through the GCS graduate training scheme. CTA is desirable but not essential.

The role
The main purpose of this role is to provide support, as part of a national team focused on these core platforms, to 700 users. This support will focus on the core practice and document management solutions where we work with Wolters Kluwer and use the CCH suite of products. We utilise Wolters Kluwer products as line of business tools in our personal tax team and whilst the support requirements in these areas in limited there will be natural overlaps.
The role focusses on a combination of ensuring day-to-day systems performance and resolving user issues along with helping to drive change in processes and systems that will lead to incremental efficiencies within the business.
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Dealing with logged calls on the helpdesk system and responding accordingly;
- Carry out effective troubleshooting and provide relevant information for escalation;
- Sharing knowledge between the local business unit and the central product support team to ensure that there is knowledge of best practice;
- Contribute as part of the wider Central CCH Team, towards identifying, scoping and prioritising system improvements that will require input from the Wolters Kluwer development team;
- Adhere to the Service Level Agreements devised for the team ensuring that all calls and queries are responded to in a timely manner;
- Provide desk-side training and support for system changes where appropriate;
- Create documentation for use by IT team and by users; and
- Perform various/ad hoc tasks as requested by users and confirmed with the team.
As part of a dispersed team with primary reporting into the central CCH support team and secondary reporting into local management the role will require good inter-personal skills, the confidence to challenge those in authority and the ability to work without day-to-day supervision and prioritise effectively
You must have the following software knowledge to be considered for this opportunity:
- A good working knowledge of the CCH suite of products, especially CCH Central and Practice Management.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
It would be useful to have knowledge of the following software products/skills:
- SQL report writing.
