Key accountabilities

As a Senior your main responsibilities will be:

  • Providing an efficient, client focussed and proactive service to meet the needs of private clients.

Key accountabilities

As a Team Secretary your main responsibilities will be:

  • Organising meetings including liaising with attendees, room/venue, catering, related diary management.
  • Organising basic travel arrangements (both domestic and international) for team members.
  • Attending and taking minutes in team meetings, if required.
  • Assisting team with planning and diary management.
  • Dealing effectively with clients’ and contacts’ telephone calls, specifically ensuring that messages are taken clearly and efficiently and responded to in a timely fashion.
  • Monitoring/responding to emails on behalf of team members, if requested.
  • Generating reports (e.g. work in progress) and producing fee notes etc from company’s systems.
  • Basic data entry onto client relationship management and practice management information systems such as Salesforce and CCH.
  • Assisting the team with administrative tasks, e.g., billing reviews, client engagement procedures, timesheets and expenses.
  • Creating document management system profiles and scanning documents as required
  • Acting as a secondary contact for absent team members and assisting fellow secretaries and PAs with workflow, as required. 
  • Audio and copy typing of correspondence, short letters, standard letters and/or lengthy reports and proposals using the company’s templates and corporate style.
  • Completing expense sheets and timesheets, if required.

Previous experience in a similar position is essential for this role.

Key accountabilities

As a Payroll Manager, you will be managing a payroll team of c50 staff across 3 countries (UK, Romania and India) with the help of other managers and local team leaders.

You will help with the training and development of the team, supervise and review the work of team members and ensure that a consistent and accurate service is delivered to our clients.

You will act as an escalation point for clients and team members as well as a point of contact for other departments in the firm. 

You will be responsible for assisting with technical queries and for reviewing and improving payroll procedures. You will ensure that all deadlines are tracked and and that all our clients’ employees are paid on time.

Other responsibilities include:

– processing a small portfolio of clients
– reviewing work done by other team members
– maintenance of masterlists and portfolio allocations
– preparing fee quotes and updating fee schedules annually
– WIP and recovery reviews of payroll clients and ensuring billing is completed
– being a champion of our payroll specific software (STAR, Payflow, Sharefile, CoZone)_
– ad hoc projects and tasks

A payroll qualification is desirable for this role. You will have strong experience of working within a practice or bureau environment and have exposure to the essential elements of client service and delivery. Excellent technical knowledge is a must.

The role

You will have a wide remit, supporting the HR Executive, Head of HR and HR Business Partner team, with a particular focus on the following:

  • Triage and handling of day-to-day queries from BR employees, ensuring they are prioritised appropriately and pointing people to existing support and resources to develop a greater level of self-sufficiency where self-service is appropriate
  • Ensuring all data in our HR system (PeopleXD) is maintained and updated accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Ensuring our benefits portal and 3rd party benefits providers are updated accurately and in an timely fashion
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Business Partners and Head of HR on the full spectrum of HR activities
  • Updating sickness absence
  • Supporting the Talent Acquisition team on an ad-hoc basis with recruitment administration and interview booking
  • Ensuring that pre-employment screening is completed for new starters, working closely with the Group HR Admin team
  • Managing the joiners and leavers process, ensuring we always prioritise the candidate experience
  • Other ad-hoc projects and tasks that arise in the team.

Key accountabilities

As an Audit Senior Manager, you will manage a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors with a strong focus on financial services. Clients range from start-ups to established international firms with billions of dollars of assets under management, and include hedge fund managers, private equity houses and advisory firms. You will be responsible for the delivery of the audit plan, usually alongside the preparation of statutory accounts and tax computations for companies, partnerships and groups. You will be a key point of contact for clients during the year, assisting with ad hoc queries and advisory work. As well as delivering an excellent client service, the role includes providing mentoring and development to junior staff, including on-the-job feedback and training.

You will have strong experience of working within practice and have exposure to the essential elements of client service and delivery. You will ideally be working within a managerial capacity already, or aspiring to do so as part of your journey. An accountancy qualification such as ACA or ACCA are essential for this role. As part of the management your journey will continue via mentorship by the senior management team to provide soft skills development to include client and staff management. Personal coaching will also be available as your journey continues beyond formal qualifications tailored to your own individual aspirations and can even help you plot your route to Director/Partner.

The role

This opportunity will be working within our International Outsourced Accounting department. Our specialist services are designed to support the back office accounting and management reporting functions of a wide range of international business as they expand. This allows our clients to invest their resources where they are needed most on building new markets while we look after the accounting.

The Manager has the primary task of controlling the workflow on a portfolio of clients, dealing with technical queries as they arise and completing quality control reviews in a timely and accurate fashion. This requires technical knowledge, attention to detail and an ability to organise the workloads of others. The Manager is a key individual in building and maintaining strong relationships with key individuals at the client.

You will also have responsibility to review, management reports, VAT returns and registrations, payment runs, and the client billing process. You will also be the primary contact with senior client contacts, typically Financial Controllers and CFO level who will be based overseas along with the clients UK based operational team.

An accountancy qualification such as ACA or ACCA are essential for this role. Your journey will continue via mentorship by the senior management team to provide soft skills development to include client and staff management. Personal coaching will also be available as your journey continues beyond formal qualifications tailored to your own individual aspirations and can even help you plot your route to Director/Partner.

You will also aid the Management Accountants with collation and posting of accounting records, accurate and timely filing of financial information and the resolution of any review points raised as part of our quality control process along with monitoring the purchase ledger and sales ledger on an on-going basis and deal with issues before they become significant. You will have experience working within a finance team. Exposure to an outsourcing practice and to the essential elements of client service are desirable but not essential. You will also need to speak either German or Spanish fluently or at business level to be considered for this opportunity. 

An accountancy qualification or working towards one such as an ATT/AAT/CIMA is desirable but not essential for this role. Personal coaching will also be available as your journey continues beyond formal qualifications tailored to your own individual aspirations.

The role

Your clients will include US and EMEA multinational companies, including listed, privately owned and Mid Cap businesses across a range of industry sectors (covering technology/digital, life sciences, retail and financial services). You will be involved in challenging and interesting work involving the following:

  • Helping support the Transfer Pricing and International Tax team with the design, implementation and defence of transfer pricing policies.
  • Preparation of transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking.
  • Participating in and leading functional analysis calls.
  • Contributing to team items such as technical articles, business development activities and presenting at webinars and other events.
  • International tax projects including but not limited to anti-hybrid reviews, offshore receipts in respect of Intangible Property, Permanent Establishment reviews, tax treaty advice and advising inbound companies on the most appropriate structure for their UK operations. 

Key accountabilities

  • To be fully involved in the preparation and delivery of all transfer pricing projects – this will include working with a mix of partners, directors and managers across the wider team.
  • Efficient delivery of all projects at set recovery rates and to exceptional quality standards.
  • Building strong relationships with our clients and our internal teams.
  • People are at the heart of our business and a successful candidate will demonstrate strong interest in learning and gaining experience on transfer pricing and tax projects and helping to delegate to more junior team members.
  • Although the role is UK focused, an understanding of key international tax principals is important, such as rules relating to permanent establishments, anti-hybrids, treaty interpretation and diverted profits tax.

 

Requirements

You will be ACA/CTA/ADIT qualified, and qualified by extensive experience in UK transfer pricing, ideally working with US inbounds, preferably gained from a UK Big 4 environment.
