The role

Key accountabilities

This role will focus on cash collection but with the scope to assist in rolling out paperless billing and a new dunning process. There is also the possibility to assist in the integration of any future acquisitions and contribute to the overall development of the credit control function. The credit control team is part of a 15 strong accounts function led by the CFO.

Our clients range from owner managed businesses to large international organisations and high net worth individuals.

A CICM qualification is desirable but not essential for this role.  As part of your journey with us, you will continue via mentorship by the senior management team to provide soft skills development to include client and staff management.  Personal coaching will also be available as your journey continues beyond formal qualifications tailored to your own individual aspirations and can even help you plot your route to Manager.

Key accountabilities

An opportunity has arisen for a talented manager to join a growing, award winning, corporate tax team.  

The role will suit an ambitious manager with experience advising on a wide range of matters, from complex tax compliance through to bespoke advisory projects.  Your experience may cover M&A transactions, complex real estate transactions, or be focused on OMB advisory, our diverse client base means there are wide-ranging opportunities.  Whilst the role will be predominantly advisory focused, you will have a portfolio of complex compliance clients to manage. 

Key responsibilities and duties will include the following:

  • Provision of tax advisory services to new and existing clients.
  • Providing tax structuring, tax due diligence and restructuring advice on a wide range of transactions.
  • Carrying out detailed technical research.
  • Dealing with ad-hoc technical queries as these arise from the corporate tax team and from other areas of the business.
  • Taking responsibility for the delivery of high quality compliance and reporting services for a portfolio of clients.
  • Being the first point of contact for many clients.
  • Recruitment, supervision and training of junior staff.
  • Being involved in business development and proposal activity.
  • Ensuring all risk procedures are adhered to.

You will be involved with a wide range of clients, so experience dealing with clients across different sectors is desirable but not essential. 

The ideal candidate would be ACA and/or CTA qualified and have post qualification experience.

The role

What is the role?

Providing on-site support for our audit clients to include planning, day to day managing of workload and liaising with clients from a mixed portfolio of industries and turnover.

Opportunity to complete audit assignments, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established clients.

You will be working and collaborating with other members of the audit team and the wider department as necessary to provide high quality client service.

As part of your position, you will have exposure to mentoring and training new starters within the team.

Some assignments may require travel as you work more closely with some of your audit clients.

Key accountabilities

As HR Business Partner, you will be reporting to the HR Director and will be supporting the delivery of the HR strategy for your client groups. You will be providing day to day HR Support to enable compliance in all areas of employment policy and legislation.

 

You will be the go-to point for all HR related queries within your client groups with the support of a central HR administration function. You will partner with key stakeholders within the business to deliver activities such as succession-planning, development-planning and managing employee relations issues. You will work closely with wider HR teams, payroll, recruitment and learning & development within the wider Azets structure in order to mitigate our people risks and ensure the business meets its targets by retaining and engaging our people.

Each client group is comprised of approximately 200 people and you will take full responsibility for supporting the relevant Heads of Department to ensure that the structure is optimal for talent to be managed and supported in the right way to achieve its full potential.
