Every family has unique needs and helping my clients create bespoke solutions to the challenges they face is the most rewarding part of what I do.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, I moved to the Cayman Islands for a litle over two years, gaining invaluable practical experience in the management of trusts. Returning to practice in the UK, I have now worked in the trust industry for 15 years and joined Blick Rothenberg in June 2022 to head up the trust department. I enjoy putting the experience I have gained working both onshore and offshore into practice to help my clients to come up with the best solutions to their problems. My clients range from small family trusts to complex international trust structures as well the indivduals whose affairs are impacted by these arrangements.

Investing time in my client relationships allows me to build the trust required to provide advice in areas which are sometimes deeply personal. This gives me an understanding of their motivations and family dynamics, ensuring that my advice meets their wider needs, as well as helping them to navigate the increasingly complex tax landscape, and also ensuring that they meet all of their ever more burdensome reporting requirements. In particular, navigating the complex and sensitive issues around succession and the transfer of wealth is one of the most rewarding aspects of the job.
