Blick Rothenberg presents London's Air Ambulance Charity with £50,000 cheque
After two years of fundraising, involving many events including cake sales, The Thames Walk, marathons, abseiling down the side of the Royal London hospital and even custard pie throwing, our partnership with London’s Air Ambulance has drawn to a close.
Blick Rothenberg CEO Nimesh Shah and many employees welcomed the London Air Ambulance team to our Great Queen Street offices to receive a cheque for over £50,000 in support of their Up Against Time appeal.
Cat Hughes, Philanthropy (Trusts) Officer, accepted the cheque on behalf of London’s Air Ambulance and thanked the team at Blick Rothenberg for helping to safeguard the life-saving service and ensuring they can continue to save lives across London.
The Up Against Time appeal, to raise £15 million to replace their ageing helicopter fleet, continues and we wish them continued success in achieving their target. We are immensely proud of our two years fundraising for them and leave this page as a tribute to their service and reminder that you can still donate to support their appeal.
