A New Horizon: Rees Pollock becomes Blick Rothenberg

We spoke to Phil Vipond, Head of Financial Services and our CEO, Nimesh Shah to hear what this means to the Financial Services team and the firm as a whole.

“Rees Pollock was set up in 1990 and soon carved out a niche for itself in the hedge fund industry and other financial services clients who were looking for a firm who combines technical excellence with a personal, Partner-led service.

Rees Pollock has been recognised for over 30 years as the leading auditor outside of the ‘Big 4’ for the financial services sector. We have grown to over 60 fee earners, acting for around 200 regulated clients, and have trained dozens of graduates, many of whom continue to work in the industry today.

In September 2019 we joined Blick Rothenberg, and the time is now right to officially retire the Rees Pollock name and become a proud part of the successful Blick Rothenberg brand. Blick Rothenberg shares our values and culture, as well as our desire for future growth so this marks an exciting time in our team’s evolution.

Our name may have changed but we will remain the same client-driven team with a passion for client service which has served us so well over the last 31 years. However, we can now also call on the wider expertise and support of the Blick Rothenberg team.”
