I work closely with Japanese businesses that have presence in the UK to deliver practical solutions to their global mobility, tax, payroll, and social security challenges. I joined Blick Rothenberg after more than 14 years in Global Mobility at a Big Four accountancy firm, where I developed a strong understanding of the needs of Japanese businesses operating in the UK, as well as the needs of their expatriate assignees.

I specialise in supporting Japanese clients, combining my knowledge of Japanese business culture, language, and compensation structures to simplify complex UK tax requirements. My focus is on making compliance clear, accessible, and manageable, enabling clients to feel confident and well supported while they focus on their core business objectives. Delivering a high-quality, tailored service is central to my approach, ensuring that clients fully understand their obligations and receive practical, value-added advice.

Having studied in Japan for a year and completed a four-month work assignment in India, I have first-hand experience of the challenges faced by expatriate assignees, particularly when there are hundreds of other pressing matters that require attention, in addition to tax procedures.
