Second Line IT Support Analyst

Due to significant company growth, we are looking to expand the IT department with a new Second Line Support Analyst.

Reports to

Managers

Working alongside

Various people across the organisation

We are looking for someone to join our support team in a Second Line position to deal with escalated calls from the first line and assist them while working on a call.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical expertise to support both all areas across the firm;
  • Assisting in maintaining IT security across the firm;
  • Diagnosing and resolving software and hardware problems on desktops, laptops and networks.

Essential criteria

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows 7/Windows 10;
  • Good experience working in IT to include exposure to servers/Group policy/Active Directory;
  • Proven experience with working on various work-streams.

Skills and personal attributes required:

  • Ability to research solution and learn quickly and present options to management;
  • Ability to work to deadlines;
  • Able to cope with multiple issues at once and prioritising.
