The role

As an IT Application Support Technician you will be responsible for supporting department specific applications within Blick Rothenberg as well as assisting the user base with accounting process queries.

Understanding how the applications are used on a daily basis will be key and the aim is for the team to resolve problems for users as soon as possible, to minimise the impact on their working day. Time sensitive queries are prioritised and tickets are processed in accordance with our SLA’s.

You will have strong experience of working within a professional services background and have exposure to the essential elements of client service and delivery.

You are not expected to have experience in every application; however, a solid understanding of Microsoft technologies along with a desire and motivation to quickly learn new skills and have a logical thinking is essential.

The role

In this role you will be able to provide on-site support for our FS audit clients to include planning, day to day managing of workload and liaising with clients. You will have the opportunity to complete audit assignments, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established clients. As part of the role you will be working with other members of the audit team and the wider department as necessary to provide high quality client service. Some assignments may require travel as you work more closely with some of your audit clients.

As you continue to develop in your journey, we will be providing you with full study support and mentorship as you pursue your ACCA/ ACA or equivalent professional qualification. You would already have completed your AAT or equivalent and have started to work towards your professional studies. Marketing & Communications

The Marketing & Communications team set the marketing strategy and objectives for Blick Rothenberg. They are responsible for supporting business growth and building the BR brand profile. In broad terms the team:

• Creates and manages the strategic Marketing plans at a client, partner, sector and department level;

• Manages the brand ensuring it is always used appropriately and is positioned in the right way;

• Drives brand awareness and lead generation through engaging content taken to market by multi-channel campaigns;

• Manages the firm’s key client relationship and client listening programmes;

• Manages our relationships with the media and seeks out the most appropriate opportunities;

• Creates and implements the firm’s digital marketing and communications strategy;

• Provides strategic advice and co-ordination on high value pitching opportunities;

• Develops research where necessary to analyse markets in support of marketing and communications activity;

• Manages internal communications across the business in collaboration with HR and the Leadership

The role

This role forms part of the core of the Marketing team and supports all areas of the business based on priorities. Therefore, the role holder must have a good generalist marketing background with some specialist skills welcome.

The role holder is expected to take a proactive approach to Marketing and identify areas where they can add value to the Marketing & Communications function. They must be able to actively project manage campaigns, keeping projects on time and on budget, ensuring everyone completes their actions, proactively seek new ways of marketing and develop their own ideas on how to maximise spend and activity.

Brand

· Be an active ambassador for the BR brand, ensuring that it is used appropriately at all times and manage situations where it is not used in the correct manner.

· Support the development of the brand, offering ideas and helping with delivery with elements including design and photography, offering a critical eye to proposed designs.

CRM

· Be an active user of Salesforce and support the business in using the system in the approved way.

Digital Marketing

· Use our marketing technology including software platforms and automation.

· Support the Head of Digital in maintaining and enhancing the firm’s presence on social media, including Twitter and LinkedIn.

· Help to promote the adoption and use of social media across the business.

Events

· Support the development and delivery of corporate hospitality and events (both face-to-face and virtual) to enhance our brand and build relationships with clients, prospects and intermediaries.

· Offer new ideas to get the most from event spend whether internally or externally.

Group

· Support with Group marketing and communications initiatives, where necessary and take a lead on activity where requested.

Management

· Ensuring that the team management system (Monday) is kept up to date with progress on activity.

Content & Campaigns

· Leading on the development of campaign plans.

· Project management of campaigns, working with the wider Marketing & Communications team to ensure timely delivery and to budget.

· Production of creative marketing content to support campaigns including reports, flyers, brochures, video, podcasts and advertisements.

· Development and management of relationships with external suppliers such as conference organisers, designers, videographers, industry associations and key publications.

· Proactively seek out and write initial drafts of client case studies using agreed format.

· Use of Salesforce to monitor campaigns.

· Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing activity to understand their effectiveness and business impact. Develop close-out reports to evidence ROI, mapped to campaign objectives.

Skills & experience

Essential

• At least 8 years’ experience as a marketing professional, the majority in a B2B environment preferably in professional services

• Experience of developing and delivering content-led marketing campaigns and can evidence brand profile KPIs being met and lead generation KPI’s being met

• Experience of managing multiple marketing projects at one time

• Experience of creating a wide range of marketing content

• Effective written and oral communication skills

• Experience of writing, designing and publishing social media posts (LinkedIn and Twitter)

• Event (live and virtual) organisation and management skills

• Experience of the following software platforms:

– CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)

– Marketing Automation (preferably HubSpot)

– Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

– Website CMS (preferably HubSpot and WordPress)

The role

As a Facilities Assistant, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Searching of documents on company search engine
  • Scanning and sorting of all incoming post
  • 1st line support for MFDs, printers, coffee machines and water coolers etc;
  • Responsibility for the maintenance of the Meeting Room suite, including 1st line support of technology;
  • Cover for catering/lunch orders where appropriate i.e. to cover absences or high workloads;

The role

The role will focus on cash collection, resolving problems in relation to payments and aged debt. Credit Control duties include following up with all aspects of legal action and managing a portfolio of Partners and their ledger of debtors. There is also the possibility to assist in the integration of any future acquisitions and contribute to the overall development of the credit control function. The credit control unit is part of a 15 strong Finance Team led by the CFO.

Our clients range from owner managed businesses to large international organisations and high net worth individuals.

A CICM qualification is desirable but not essential for this role. As part of your journey with us, you will continue via mentorship by the senior management team to provide soft skills development to include client and staff management. Personal coaching will also be available as your journey continues beyond formal qualifications tailored to your own individual aspirations and can even help you plot your route to Manager.

The role

Key accountabilities

This opportunity will be working within our International Outsourced Accounting department. Our specialist services are designed to support the back office accounting and management reporting functions of a wide range of international business as they expand. This allows our clients to invest their resources where they are needed most on building new markets while we look after the accounting.

The Manager has the primary task of controlling the workflow on a portfolio of clients, dealing with technical queries as they arise and completing quality control reviews in a timely and accurate fashion. This requires technical knowledge, attention to detail and an ability to organise the workloads of others. The Manager is a key individual in building and maintaining strong relationships with key individuals at the client.

You will also have responsibility to review, management reports, VAT returns and registrations, payment runs, and the client billing process. You will also be the primary contact with senior client contacts, typically Financial Controllers and CFO level who will be based overseas along with the clients UK based operational team.

An accountancy qualification such as ACA or ACCA are essential for this role. The role

As an Assistant Manager in our Audit department you will be heavily involved in the completion of audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, normally on site at client premises. You will have the responsibility for the planning and completion of audit assignments, whilst ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation. You will prepare statutory financial statements from client data and highlight high level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Director/Manager whilst using a significant degree of your own judgement. As your responsibilities continue to develop you will be planning the execution and finalisation of the audit assignments forPDM review.

As a US/UK Tax Assistant Manager, you will be assisting with the management of all aspects of the tax compliance process and wider relationship management. You will be given a client list pertinent to your experience to manage and support under the overall support of a line manager.

EA and ATT qualifications are essential in order to have the baseline knowledge of their peers who have come through the USUK graduate training scheme. CTA is desirable but not essential.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Company Secretary to join our company secretarial department. You will be stepping into a client facing role, taking responsibility for your own client portfolio, providing support to the senior team members and the wider team. There will be opportunities to be involved in more complex work and gain valuable experience.

Strong candidates will have a professional services background in a similar role, be educated to a degree level and, ideally, partly or fully CGI qualified, possess a good knowledge of the Companies Acts and relevant statutes and have experience in using Diligent Entities (formerly known as Blueprint).

The role requires a proactive approach, strong organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills. It will also be necessary to possess the ability to manage and prioritise workload without losing sight of delegated tasks.

Daily tasks will involve various aspects of company secretarial compliance including, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring that clients’ Companies House filing deadlines are met and that documents are issued for approval in good time
  • Maintaining statutory books and ensuring they are up to date
  • Preparation of documents for routine Companies House filings
  • Preparation of resolutions, forms and supporting documents for share capital transactions (share allotments and transfers, capital reductions, share buybacks, subdivisions, consolidations, share re-designations and share-for-share exchanges)
  • PSC analysis and updating PSC registers
  • Preparation and submission of dormant company accounts and voluntary striking off applications
  • Formation of UK companies and LLPs
  • Registration of UK establishments of overseas companies, advising on their compliance requirements, preparation and submission of forms to report changes
  • Responding to technical queries from clients and colleagues
  • Raising and sending invoices for the work completed

Strong experience in the majority of these tasks will be an advantage. We will provide support for training and the opportunity to gain an in-depth technical knowledge of more complex company secretarial procedures. There will be opportunities for career advancement.

You will be assisting with the management of all aspects of the tax compliance process and wider relationship management. In addition to this you will be assisting a line manager with the preparation of complex tax returns. Overall, you will have responsibility to partner group for: Recovery (client portfolio); Utilisation (self and team); Line Management of team members.

Skills & experience

EA and ATT qualifications are essential in order to have the baseline knowledge of their peers who have come through the USUK graduate training scheme. CTA is desirable but not essential.
