We are committed to offering development opportunities to all of our staff, from Entry Level Trainee through to Senior Partner. As a trainee, all of our roles will provide a professional qualification specific to the business area you will be working in.
About the role
As part of your role as an Audit Associate you will assist with the preparation of financial statements for financial services clients from trial balance stage. You will be working and collaborating with other members in the audit and accounts team in order to build strong working relationships. You will be providing assistance on statutory audits as you continue to develop your knowledge. As your confidence grows so will your project management skills as you work to meet deadlines and budget constraints for clients.
Qualification
We have created a first-class training and development programme and, by starting your career at Blick Rothenberg, in addition to the comprehensive on the job training, you will also be given all the support you need to complete a professional qualification, including college and/or study days, mentoring and a designated buddy.
We offer a range of different qualification pathways at Blick Rothenberg which are determined by the role you are applying for. The qualification that will be undertaken for this position will be the ACA.

Blick Rothenberg has approximately 600 people split across two offices within central London. The role
What does the role entail?
Our ACA Graduate Scheme is based within our Audit, Assurance and Advisory team. Working within our audit and accounts teams, you will get exposure to all facets of preparing and auditing year-end financial statements as well as preparing the related corporation tax returns. You will gain a genuine mix of experience across different business sectors and from large international corporates to small and medium sized UK businesses.
This role will start in September 2023.

We look for students who really want to work in a medium-sized firm such as ours – we are not a cut-down version of the Big 4 but exist very much on our own terms and in our own right. We are looking for someone with is keen to develop a long-lasting career in audit, is inquisitive enjoys learning new concepts and enjoys working with others. We are not looking for someone who knows everything already, but someone who is keen to work hard and learn.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are also necessary, as is the ability to work as a member of a team.
Academic Requirements
- To have or be heading towards a 2:1 degree (or 2:2 if you can provide evidence of extenuating circumstances)
