I have a real passion for supporting clients with their accounting systems and processes and ensuring these are as efficient and streamlined as possible and can easily be adapted as their business grows.

I joined Shelley Stock Hutter (which was acquired by Blick Rothenberg in December 2017) as a trainee bookkeeper back in 2004. I successfully completed my AAT and ACCA qualifications and worked as a management accountant before becoming a manager in 2016.

Over the past 17 years I have worked predominantly with SMEs from a variety of industries and at various stages in their growth. This has enabled me to develop a wealth of experience in best practice use of accounting software and helping clients develop efficient processes and practical workflows to ensure reliable management information is available for decision making.

Overseeing a team of around 20, I coordinate the delivery of bookkeeping, VAT compliance and management accounts services to over 500 clients ranging from start-ups to established businesses. I work with hairdressers, property companies, restaurants and tech companies, to name a few, all with a common theme of wanting accurate and informative management information.

I advise on all aspects of the accounting and reporting process for a client, whether that be compliance, implementing a new system, developing bespoke reporting, looking at KPIs or suggesting ways to improve efficiencies.

I particularly enjoy keeping up to date with the fast-paced development of online solutions and love learning how new software and APPs work, how they integrate with one another and how we can adapt a client’s current processes to get even better financial data from their system.

I enjoy travelling and as a family we have recently completed our Padi Open Water course so that we can enjoy diving as part of our future travels.
