My role as HR Partner is to create an environment where people thrive and are empowered to reach their full potential. I am passionate about helping people to achieve their career aspirations for personal growth and development.
I joined Blick Rothenberg in September 2008, having worked previously in the professional services and media sector.
One of the achievements I am most proud of within our business is our succession framework where over the years we have seen many of our school leaver and graduate trainees progress into senior positions. We have achieved this through structured development pathways which involve formal training, job shadowing and mentoring within a supportive and nurturing culture.
A key areas of focus has been the engagement of our people and over the years, we have established initiatives to facilitate this approach and empower our people to have a voice and to shape our business. I have also been fortunate to have been involved in a number of successful acquisitions where large numbers of people have been integrated into our business and our strong employee engagement focus has had a positive impact on this process and outcomes.
