The Bakery business accelerator in London brings together bright, creative, tech company talent with global brands, their agencies, and their millions of customers.
Tech companies take part in an online application process, before a number have the chance to pitch their ideas to enterprises at a speed pitching session. The enterprises select their favourites who are then given a brief and a £50,000 ($80,000) budget to develop their technology and a ‘go to market’ strategy with the brand’s marketing agency.
Success stories so far include an artificial intelligence partnership with BMW for UK tech based firm LBM Drivers, and a social media gifting app for Stella Artois developed by mobile commerce start-up InVibe.
Blick Rothenberg is working with The Bakery on their Autumn Accelerator Programme and will support the successful candidates with accounting and business start-up advice.
