Research report on the Taxation of Internationally Mobile Employees

Blick Rothenberg and the University of Exeter have carried out an in depth study of the taxation issues and risks surrounding Internationally Mobile Employees (“IMEs”).

Together, we will be making recommendations to government on policy changes which would mitigate these risks.

The full study provides research data and critical analysis to help IMEs and their employers understand the pros and cons of various locations. We will also be producing guidance on the main areas of challenge for both the employees and their employers, including pensions, social security and complex reward and incentive arrangements.
