We are delighted to announce that we have passed our target and have now raised £107,927 (excluding gift aid) for Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of Colin Lehmann, one of our partners who sadly died in February this year.
The experts still do not know enough about pancreatic cancer progression and resistance to therapy to support the development of new cancer drugs or treatment. Pancreatic Cancer UK runs a Future Leaders programme which aims to attract new research talent to the field and build critical mass of pancreatic research by supporting clinical PhD level researchers.
With many thanks to all those who contributed, including the runners and walkers who took part in the Macabbi Community Fun Run. The money raised will build a substantial fund to support the work undertaken by Pancreatic Cancer UK.
