Blick Rothenberg has appointed Fiona Fernie as a partner to further strengthen its Tax Investigations and Dispute Resolution team.
Fiona Fernie is a Chartered Accountant and Trusts and Estates Practitioner with over 30 years’ experience working on resolving disputes and queries raised by HMRC. She has a particular bias towards working with complex private clients and managing their interaction with HMRC. Fiona joins Blick Rothenberg from Pinsent Masons where she headed up their Tax Investigations Team.
Caroline Le Jeune, Partner and Head of the Private Clients at Blick Rothenberg, said: “We are fortunate to have Fiona join us. Fiona has a wealth of experience and contacts in the area of tax investigations and is technically excellent. It is exciting that our dispute resolution team is further strengthened by her appointment at a point in time when more enquiries are being raised by HMRC than ever before due to the worldwide disclosure regimes. Fiona’s expertise and experience will put us at the forefront of practices offering tax dispute resolution services”.
