Donn
 Martin Donn is a consultant for Blick Rothenberg. He
was a partner for the firm for over 13 years and retired in June 2007.
He advises clients on how to minimise their
tax exposure, structure their affairs and takes care of all their compliance
requirements. He specialises in taking care of the tax affairs of Lloyds
Underwriters, and overseas clients.
For non-UK domiciles, he advises on how to
structure overseas assets to avoid UK tax exposure. Specifically, Martin
recently solved a PAYE inspection audit for a client, and undertook the
personal tax compliance and planning for the personnel of several major
overseas banks.
Martin has for many years been a
commentator on personal tax issues in the national press (including budget
coverage and analysis for The Daily Express) and radio.
Martin was born in 1947, joined the firm in
1974 and became a partner in 1993. He is married with two children, and he and
his wife live in Essex. In his spare time, Martin acts as a director of the
charity, The Peter Wolff Theatre Trust, which supports new plays by British
playwrights. He also supports Arsenal football club. |
