Jan Ellis

Jan is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a former fully trained Inspector of Taxes. She was born in 1963 and joined Blick Rothenberg as a partner in 2008, having previously been a partner in another major practice.

Jan specialises in one-off tax planning for companies, groups and individuals. She has particular experience in buying and selling businesses, group reorganisations, employee share issues and exit planning. Jan also has expertise in valuing companies and businesses for tax and commercial purposes, including forensic work. She has experience in appearing in court and at mediations as an expert witness.

Jan lives in West Sussex and has a son and two step-daughters. She is a governor at her son's school and enjoys cooking, singing in a classical chamber choir and holidays regularly in French Catalonia.
