Martin is a consultant for Blick Rothenberg. He was a partner for the firm for over 13 years and retired in June 2007. He specialises in taking care of the tax affairs of Lloyds Underwriters and overseas clients.
For non-UK domiciles, he advises on how to structure overseas assets to avoid UK tax exposure. Specifically, Martin recently solved a PAYE inspection audit for a client, and undertook the personal tax compliance and planning for the personnel of several major overseas banks.
Martin has for many years been a commentator on personal tax issues in the national press (including Budget coverage and analysis for The Daily Express) and on the radio.
Martin joined the firm in 1974 and became a partner in 1993. He is married with two children, and he and his wife live in Essex. In his spare time, Martin acts as a director of a charity, The Peter Wolff Theatre Trust, which supports new plays by British playwrights. He also supports Arsenal football club.
